Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs (900g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1.5 cups (360ml) high-quality orange marmalade barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) sesame oil

Instructions:

  1. Cut chicken thighs into even-sized pieces (about 1-inch chunks).
  2. In a bowl or directly in the skillet, combine the chicken with the orange marmalade barbecue sauce. Ensure the chicken is well-coated.
  3. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the chicken mixture to the hot skillet in a single layer (work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding).
  5. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F/74°C) and the sauce has thickened into a glossy glaze. This takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
