Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Smoked Paprika
  • ½ tsp (2.5 ml) Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp (2.5 ml) Onion Powder
  • ½ tsp (2.5 ml) Dried Oregano
  • ¼ tsp (1.25 ml) Dried Thyme
  • ¼ - ½ tsp (1.25-2.5 ml) Cayenne Pepper
  • ½ tsp (2.5 ml) Salt
  • ¼ tsp (1.25 ml) Black Pepper
  • 1 lb (450g) Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) Lemon Juice
  • Fresh parsley or green onions, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine all the Cajun spice blend ingredients and mix well.
  2. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
  3. In a mixing bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, lemon juice, and the Cajun spice blend. Make sure the shrimp are evenly coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket, being careful not to overcrowd.
  5. Air fry for 4-5 minutes, then flip the shrimp and cook for another 3-5 minutes, or until pink and opaque.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions (optional) and serve immediately.
