Ingredients:
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Smoked Paprika
- ½ tsp (2.5 ml) Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp (2.5 ml) Onion Powder
- ½ tsp (2.5 ml) Dried Oregano
- ¼ tsp (1.25 ml) Dried Thyme
- ¼ - ½ tsp (1.25-2.5 ml) Cayenne Pepper
- ½ tsp (2.5 ml) Salt
- ¼ tsp (1.25 ml) Black Pepper
- 1 lb (450g) Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) Lemon Juice
- Fresh parsley or green onions, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, combine all the Cajun spice blend ingredients and mix well.
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
- In a mixing bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, lemon juice, and the Cajun spice blend. Make sure the shrimp are evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket, being careful not to overcrowd.
- Air fry for 4-5 minutes, then flip the shrimp and cook for another 3-5 minutes, or until pink and opaque.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions (optional) and serve immediately.
