Ingredients:
- 4 large ripe bananas (about 1 lb / 450g)
- 4 cups vanilla ice cream (about 1 quart / 0.95L)
- ½ cup chocolate syrup (about 120ml)
- ½ cup strawberry syrup (about 120ml)
- ½ cup whipped cream (about 120ml)
- ¼ cup chopped nuts (e.g., peanuts or walnuts) (about 30g)
- Maraschino cherries (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Peel and slice each banana in half lengthwise.
- Place one half on each serving dish.
- Using an ice cream scoop, place one large scoop of vanilla ice cream over the banana halves on each dish.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup over the ice cream.
- Drizzle strawberry syrup over the ice cream.
- Add a generous dollop of whipped cream on top.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts over the whipped cream.
- Top each banana split with a maraschino cherry.
- Present the banana splits with spoons and enjoy!
