Ingredients:

  • 4 large ripe bananas (about 1 lb / 450g)
  • 4 cups vanilla ice cream (about 1 quart / 0.95L)
  • ½ cup chocolate syrup (about 120ml)
  • ½ cup strawberry syrup (about 120ml)
  • ½ cup whipped cream (about 120ml)
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts (e.g., peanuts or walnuts) (about 30g)
  • Maraschino cherries (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Peel and slice each banana in half lengthwise.
  2. Place one half on each serving dish.
  3. Using an ice cream scoop, place one large scoop of vanilla ice cream over the banana halves on each dish.
  4. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the ice cream.
  5. Drizzle strawberry syrup over the ice cream.
  6. Add a generous dollop of whipped cream on top.
  7. Sprinkle chopped nuts over the whipped cream.
  8. Top each banana split with a maraschino cherry.
  9. Present the banana splits with spoons and enjoy!
