Ingredients:
- 10 oz (280 g) tortilla chips
- 2 cups (200 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup (75 g) sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- 1/2 cup (120 g) black olives, sliced (optional)
- 2 ripe avocados, diced
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup (15 g) fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper (optional).
- Spread tortilla chips evenly on the baking sheet.
- Layer cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the chips.
- Scatter jalapeños and black olives (if using) on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbling.
- In a mixing bowl, combine diced avocados, tomato, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
- Remove nachos from the oven and let cool for a minute, then top with the Fresh Avocado Delight and serve immediately.
