Instructions:
- Combine flour, salt, and sugar in a mixing bowl.
- Activate yeast in warm water until frothy (about 5 minutes).
- Mix yeast mixture with dry ingredients and olive oil.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Let rise in a warm place, covered, for 30 minutes.
- Heat skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sauté onions until translucent.
- Add ground beef and taco seasoning; cook until browned (about 7-10 minutes).
- Mix in bell peppers; cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out dough to fit the baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
- Layer meat mixture, followed by shredded cheese.
- Add any optional toppings as desired.
- Place pizza in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
- Check doneness by ensuring the crust is firm and light brown.
- Slice pizza and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
