Ingredients:
- 12 slider rolls (or Hawaiian rolls)
- 1 pound sliced ham (preferably honey-glazed)
- 12 slices Swiss cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly grease the baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
- Cut the slider rolls in half horizontally. Layer the bottom halves with sliced ham and cheese, then place the top halves back in place.
- In a mixing bowl, melt the butter and whisk in Dijon mustard, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, poppy seeds (if using), and season with salt and pepper.
- Brush the buttery glaze generously over the top of the assembled sliders.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.
