Ingredients:

  • 12 slider rolls (or Hawaiian rolls)
  • 1 pound sliced ham (preferably honey-glazed)
  • 12 slices Swiss cheese (or your favorite cheese)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly grease the baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  3. Cut the slider rolls in half horizontally. Layer the bottom halves with sliced ham and cheese, then place the top halves back in place.
  4. In a mixing bowl, melt the butter and whisk in Dijon mustard, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, poppy seeds (if using), and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Brush the buttery glaze generously over the top of the assembled sliders.
  6. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.
