Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen lingonberries (240g)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (100g)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (8g)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15ml)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5ml)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (120g)
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats (50g)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed (100g)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (2g)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (1g)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted (113g)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine lingonberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
  3. Gently toss the mixture until berries are well coated.
  4. Pour the berry mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  5. In another bowl, combine all-purpose flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  6. Add melted butter to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
  7. Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the berry filling.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
