Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it with cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, smoked paprika, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place chicken breasts in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
  4. Remove chicken from the marinade and place on the prepared baking sheet; discard any remaining marinade.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Allow chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
