Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it with cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, smoked paprika, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
- Place chicken breasts in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
- Remove chicken from the marinade and place on the prepared baking sheet; discard any remaining marinade.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Allow chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
