Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened (225g)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (120 ml)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (60 ml)
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (55g)
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (25g)
  • 1 pound cooked shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped (450g)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (30g)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped celery (30g)
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish (15 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (5 ml) (Such as Tony Chachere's)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste (1 ml)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (1 ml)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: Few dashes of hot sauce (Louisiana Hot Sauce or Tabasco, to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, Monterey Jack cheese, cheddar cheese, shrimp, green onions, celery, horseradish, Cajun seasoning, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Add hot sauce, if desired.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly around the edges. The top should be lightly golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving with your favorite dippers.
