Ingredients:

  • 4 medium fresh peaches (approx. 2 lbs / 900g), halved and pitted
  • 2 tbsp (28g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup (100g) packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp (2g) ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) kosher salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease your baking dish or line it with parchment paper. Slice your peaches in half and remove the pits, creating a small well in the center of each half.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Place the peaches cut-side up in the dish and brush the melted butter into the center of each peach.
  3. Spoon the brown sugar mixture evenly over the peaches. Bake for 20 minutes until the sugar is bubbling and the peaches are softened but not collapsing.
  4. Remove from the oven and let the peaches sit for 5 minutes to allow the syrup to thicken into a rich glaze before serving.
