Ingredients:
- 1 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, and cut into 1/2-inch thick rings (or wedges)
- 1/4 cup (50g) packed light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Peel, core, and cut the pineapple into rings or wedges. Pat dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, combine brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg (if using), and salt. Mix well.
- Brush the pineapple slices with the brown sugar mixture, ensuring both sides are coated evenly.
- Place the pineapple slices on a preheated grill over medium heat.
- Grill for 3-5 minutes per side, or until the pineapple is heated through and the sugar is caramelized and slightly charred. Watch carefully to prevent burning!
