Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs (150g)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted (113g)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (25g)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened (226g)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (120g)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5ml)
  • 1 cup whipped topping, thawed (240ml)
  • 1 can cherry pie filling (21 oz / 595g)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of the baking dish evenly.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract; mix until combined and creamy.
  3. Gently fold in whipped topping until just combined. Spread the cream cheese filling over the chilled crust evenly.
  4. Spoon cherry pie filling over the top of the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  5. Slice and serve chilled, garnishing with additional whipped topping if desired.
