Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs (150g)
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted (113g)
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (25g)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened (226g)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (120g)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5ml)
- 1 cup whipped topping, thawed (240ml)
- 1 can cherry pie filling (21 oz / 595g)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of the baking dish evenly.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract; mix until combined and creamy.
- Gently fold in whipped topping until just combined. Spread the cream cheese filling over the chilled crust evenly.
- Spoon cherry pie filling over the top of the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
- Slice and serve chilled, garnishing with additional whipped topping if desired.
