Ingredients:

  • 1 (21 ounce / 600g) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 (15.25 ounce / 432g) box yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup (1 stick / 113g) unsalted butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. Pour the cherry pie filling evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  3. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the cherry pie filling. Break up any large clumps of cake mix.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix, covering as much of the dry mix as possible.
  5. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy this simple 3 ingredient cherry dump cake.
