Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup (30g) instant coffee granules
  • 4 cups (950ml) cold water
  • 1-2 tablespoons (15-30ml) sweetener of choice (sugar, honey, or simple syrup)
  • Ice cubes
  • Milk, cream, or a dairy-free alternative (optional, to taste)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl or pitcher, combine the instant coffee granules and cold water.
  2. Whisk or stir the mixture until the coffee granules are fully dissolved.
  3. Add your sweetener (if using), mixing until blended.
  4. Place your mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to chill, allowing flavors to meld.
  5. After chilling, strain the coffee through a fine mesh strainer or coffee filter into another pitcher or serving container to remove any remaining granules.
  6. Fill glasses with ice, pour the cold brew over the ice, and add milk or cream if desired.
