Ingredients:

  • ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup (120ml) Frank's RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) distilled white vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • ⅛ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Pinch of salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter completely. Do not let it brown.
  2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and whisk in the Frank's RedHot (or your chosen cayenne pepper sauce) until well combined.
  3. Whisk in the distilled white vinegar, garlic powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Return the saucepan to low heat. Simmer for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce is slightly thickened and the flavors have melded.
  5. Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning as needed. Add more salt to taste or more cayenne pepper for extra heat.
  6. Use immediately to toss with cooked chicken wings, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat gently before using.
