Ingredients:
- ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup (120ml) Frank's RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) distilled white vinegar
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- ⅛ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Pinch of salt to taste
Instructions:
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter completely. Do not let it brown.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and whisk in the Frank's RedHot (or your chosen cayenne pepper sauce) until well combined.
- Whisk in the distilled white vinegar, garlic powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and Worcestershire sauce.
- Return the saucepan to low heat. Simmer for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce is slightly thickened and the flavors have melded.
- Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning as needed. Add more salt to taste or more cayenne pepper for extra heat.
- Use immediately to toss with cooked chicken wings, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat gently before using.
