Instructions:

  2. Gradually add warm water, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Divide dough into golf-ball sized portions.
  4. Roll each ball between plastic sheets to form thin circles.
  5. Preheat the griddle over medium heat.
  6. Cook tortillas for 30 seconds on each side until lightly browned.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix flour and salt.
  8. Add vegetable oil and warm water, stirring until dough forms.
  9. Divide dough, roll into balls, and flatten using the rolling pin.
  10. Cook tortillas on a preheated griddle for 1 minute per side until golden.
  11. Stack cooked tortillas in a clean kitchen towel to keep warm and soft.
