Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives, plus extra for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika, plus a pinch for garnish
  • ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 8 ounces cooked crab meat, picked over for shells
  • 8 ounces cooked shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, chives, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the cooked crab meat and chopped shrimp into the cream cheese mixture. Be careful not to overmix.
  4. Season the mixture to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Transfer the mixture to a 9-inch baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
  5. Sprinkle the dip evenly with ¼ cup of the shredded Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and the cheese is melted and lightly golden brown.
  7. For a browner topping, broil for the last 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning (optional).
  8. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before garnishing with remaining Parmesan cheese, a pinch of paprika, and additional fresh chives. Serve warm with your favorite dippers.
