Ingredients:
- 2 air fryer salmon fillets (approx. 6 oz / 170g each)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 lemon, sliced into wedges
Instructions:
- Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with a paper towel to ensure a crisp exterior.
- Rub the fillets with olive oil on all sides. In a small bowl, combine sea salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, and cayenne pepper. Sprinkle the seasoning generously over the fillets, pressing it in slightly.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch. If the skin is on, place them skin-side down.
- Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8–12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillet.
- Check for doneness using an instant-read thermometer; salmon is done at 125°F (52°C) for medium-rare or 135°F (57°C) for medium.
- Remove from the basket immediately and let the salmon rest for 2 minutes. Serve with fresh lemon wedges.
