Ingredients:

  • 2 air fryer salmon fillets (approx. 6 oz / 170g each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 lemon, sliced into wedges

Instructions:

  1. Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with a paper towel to ensure a crisp exterior.
  2. Rub the fillets with olive oil on all sides. In a small bowl, combine sea salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, and cayenne pepper. Sprinkle the seasoning generously over the fillets, pressing it in slightly.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch. If the skin is on, place them skin-side down.
  5. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8–12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillet.
  6. Check for doneness using an instant-read thermometer; salmon is done at 125°F (52°C) for medium-rare or 135°F (57°C) for medium.
  7. Remove from the basket immediately and let the salmon rest for 2 minutes. Serve with fresh lemon wedges.
