Ingredients:
- 1 lb Large or Jumbo Shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 cloves Fresh Garlic, finely minced
- 1 tsp Dried Italian Herbs
- 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1/4 tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Fresh Parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
Instructions:
- If frozen, ensure shrimp are fully thawed. Pat them exceptionally dry using paper towels—this is crucial for crispiness.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, Italian herbs, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add the dried shrimp to the bowl and toss thoroughly until every piece is lightly coated in the seasoning mixture.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
- Place the seasoned shrimp into the air fryer basket in a single, even layer. Do not overcrowd the basket; work in batches if necessary.
- Cook for 5 to 6 minutes, shaking the basket vigorously halfway through (around the 3-minute mark) to ensure even cooking.
- Check doneness: Shrimp are done when they are opaque pink throughout and curl into a 'C' shape (145°F/63°C internal temperature).
- Immediately transfer the cooked shrimp to a clean serving plate. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve straight away.
