Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Large or Jumbo Shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Fresh Garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tsp Dried Italian Herbs
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice

Instructions:

  1. If frozen, ensure shrimp are fully thawed. Pat them exceptionally dry using paper towels—this is crucial for crispiness.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, Italian herbs, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the dried shrimp to the bowl and toss thoroughly until every piece is lightly coated in the seasoning mixture.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  5. Place the seasoned shrimp into the air fryer basket in a single, even layer. Do not overcrowd the basket; work in batches if necessary.
  6. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes, shaking the basket vigorously halfway through (around the 3-minute mark) to ensure even cooking.
  7. Check doneness: Shrimp are done when they are opaque pink throughout and curl into a 'C' shape (145°F/63°C internal temperature).
  8. Immediately transfer the cooked shrimp to a clean serving plate. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve straight away.
