Ingredients:
- 8 ounces (227g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup (60ml) sour cream
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) lemon zest (optional)
- Pinch of salt
- 6 graham crackers (approximately 36g), finely crushed (Optional)
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the granulated sugar to the cream cheese, beating until well combined and fluffy.
- Add the sour cream, vanilla extract, and lemon zest (if using). Beat until just combined; do not overmix.
- Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors. Mix gently.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- While the dip is chilling, crush the graham crackers into fine crumbs (if using).
- Transfer the chilled cheesecake dip to a serving bowl. Sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs (if using) just before serving. Serve with your favorite dippers. Enjoy this easy cheesecake dip!
