Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces (227g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) lemon zest (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 6 graham crackers (approximately 36g), finely crushed (Optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add the granulated sugar to the cream cheese, beating until well combined and fluffy.
  3. Add the sour cream, vanilla extract, and lemon zest (if using). Beat until just combined; do not overmix.
  4. Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors. Mix gently.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. While the dip is chilling, crush the graham crackers into fine crumbs (if using).
  7. Transfer the chilled cheesecake dip to a serving bowl. Sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs (if using) just before serving. Serve with your favorite dippers. Enjoy this easy cheesecake dip!
