  • ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup (120 g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup (100 g) packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup (50 g) rolled oats
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  4. In another bowl, prepare the crumble topping by combining flour, brown sugar, oats, and salt.
  5. Cut in the softened butter with a fork or pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apple filling.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
