Ingredients:
- 1 can (29 oz / 823g) sliced peaches in heavy syrup
- 1 box (15.25 oz / 432g) yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour the entire can of peaches, including the heavy syrup, into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Use a spatula to spread the slices evenly.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top of the peaches, leveling the powder with the back of a spoon without stirring it into the fruit.
- Drizzle the melted butter across the entire surface of the cake mix, ensuring edges and corners are covered to promote even browning.
- Bake on the center rack for 40–45 minutes until the edges are bubbling vigorously and the top has turned a deep mahogany gold.
