Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (120g) Mini chocolate chip cookies
  • 1 cup (150g) Brownie bites or fudge squares
  • 1/2 cup (60g) Butter shortbread fingers
  • 1 cup (150g) Fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 cup (150g) Green grapes
  • 1/2 cup (75g) Fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup (150g) Sliced apple or pear, tossed in lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) Nutella or melted chocolate ganache
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) Mascarpone or softened cream cheese mixed with honey
  • 1 cup (120g) Salted pretzels
  • 1/2 cup (60g) Roasted almonds or candied walnuts
  • 1/2 cup (60g) Dried apricots or mango slices

Instructions:

  1. Position the anchors: Place small ramekins or bowls on the board in an uneven, organic arrangement. Fill these with the Nutella, honey-cheese mixture, and roasted almonds.
  2. Create the rivers: Arrange the long items, such as shortbread fingers, sliced apples, and pretzels, in curving lines that wind around the bowls to create movement.
  3. Cluster the bulk: Group the mini chocolate chip cookies and brownie bites in small, overlapping piles to create height and a feeling of abundance.
  4. Fill the gaps: Tuck strawberries, grapes, blueberries, and dried fruit into all remaining empty spaces until the board is completely covered.
