Ingredients:
- 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine sliced peaches, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Toss to combine and set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add melted butter and milk, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the peach mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Spoon the batter evenly over the peaches.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until topping is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Remove from oven, cool slightly, then serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
