Ingredients:

  • 5 cups (150g) Fresh baby spinach or kale, tightly packed
  • 1 small English cucumber (300g), sliced into rounds
  • 3 large Bananas (350g), peeled and sliced
  • 2 1/2 cups (400g) Frozen mixed berries or mango chunks
  • 5 tbsp (50g) Chia seeds or ground flaxseeds
  • 5 tbsp (80g) Almond butter or peanut butter

Instructions:

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry all fresh greens to prevent ice crystals from forming.
  2. Slice bananas into 1/2 inch coins and chop the English cucumber into uniform rounds.
  3. Open five reusable freezer bags. Layer ingredients in this order: baby spinach or kale, followed by cucumber, banana coins, and frozen berries/mango. Then add chia seeds and nut butter.
  4. Squeeze as much air out of the bags as possible before sealing to prevent freezer burn.
  5. Flat-stack the bags in the freezer. When ready to eat, pour the contents into a blender with 1 cup of liquid and protein powder (optional).
