Ingredients:

  • 1 (15 oz) can refried beans (425 g)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened (226 g)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or Monterey Jack) (100 g)
  • 1 tsp taco seasoning (optional) (5 g)
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch) (25 cm)
  • Cooking oil for frying (such as vegetable oil)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine refried beans, softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, and taco seasoning (if using).
  2. Spread a generous amount of the filling mixture onto the center of each tortilla.
  3. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll from the bottom to the top to create a burrito.
  4. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Place burritos seam-side down in the skillet; cook until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes per side).
  6. Remove burritos from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite sides or sauces.
