Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) Milk (whole, 2%, almond, or oat milk), plus extra for frothing
- 1-2 shots Espresso (approx. 2 oz/60 ml)
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Chocolate Syrup (homemade or store-bought)
- Optional: Whipped cream, chocolate shavings, cocoa powder for garnish
Instructions:
- Gently heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until steaming, but not boiling.
- In your serving mug, combine the chocolate syrup with a splash of the heated milk. Stir until smooth.
- Brew your espresso directly into the mug with the chocolate mixture.
- Froth the remaining milk using your preferred method until it's light and foamy.
- Gently pour the frothed milk over the espresso and chocolate mixture. Spoon the remaining foam on top. Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or a dusting of cocoa powder, if desired.
