Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) Milk (whole, 2%, almond, or oat milk), plus extra for frothing
  • 1-2 shots Espresso (approx. 2 oz/60 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Chocolate Syrup (homemade or store-bought)
  • Optional: Whipped cream, chocolate shavings, cocoa powder for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Gently heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until steaming, but not boiling.
  2. In your serving mug, combine the chocolate syrup with a splash of the heated milk. Stir until smooth.
  3. Brew your espresso directly into the mug with the chocolate mixture.
  4. Froth the remaining milk using your preferred method until it's light and foamy.
  5. Gently pour the frothed milk over the espresso and chocolate mixture. Spoon the remaining foam on top. Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or a dusting of cocoa powder, if desired.
