Ingredients:
- 1 cup (227g / 8 oz) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (200g) packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups (360g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups (255g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup (227g / 8 oz) unsalted butter, softened (for frosting)
- 4 cups (480g) powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)

Instructions:
- Cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 12-inch pizza pan or line with parchment paper.
- Press the chilled dough evenly into the pizza pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centre is set.
- Let the cookie pizza cool completely in the pan before frosting.
- Cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add the milk and vanilla extract, beating until smooth.
- Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled cookie. Decorate with your favourite toppings.
- Slice into wedges and serve immediately.
