Ingredients:
- 3 medium cucumbers, peeled, thinly sliced (approximately 750g/1.6lbs)
- 1/2 medium red onion, thinly sliced (approximately 50g/1.8oz)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill (approximately 5g/0.2oz)
- 1 cup sour cream (240ml/8fl oz)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise (60ml/2fl oz)
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar (30ml/1fl oz)
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (12g/0.4oz)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (3g/0.1oz)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (1g/0.03oz)
Instructions:
- Slice the cucumbers and red onion thinly.
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced cucumbers, red onion, and dill.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise, white vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the cucumber mixture and gently toss to coat.
- Cover the bowl with cling film and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Give it another gentle toss before serving.
