Ingredients:
- 4 large peaches (approx 1.5 lbs / 680g), halved and pitted
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
Instructions:
- Halve the peaches and remove the pits. Lightly brush the cut side of each peach with neutral oil.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place the peaches cut-side down on the grates and grill for 4–5 minutes without moving them until deep, charred grill lines appear.
- While the peaches sear, whisk the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl. Using a pastry brush, generously coat the top (skin side) and the edges of the peaches while they are still face-down.
- Flip the peaches over so the glazed side hits the grill. Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until the sugar bubbles into a thick, syrupy glaze. Remove from heat once the sugar looks like molten caramel.
