Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) bourbon whiskey
- 1/2 cup (100 g) brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon (15 g) Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 g) black pepper
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring frequently to dissolve the sugar.
- Allow the glaze to simmer gently for about 10 minutes, or until it has reduced by half and coats the back of a spoon.
- Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes. Transfer to a heat-safe container and allow to cool completely before storing in the fridge.
