Ingredients:

  • 1.5 tsp Ground Allspice
  • 1.5 tsp Ground Cloves
  • 0.5 tsp Ground Cardamom
  • 0.25 tsp Finely Ground Black Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Place a fine-mesh sifter over a small ceramic or glass mixing bowl. Add the cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, cloves, cardamom, and black pepper.
  2. Sift the spices into the bowl to break up any clumps and ensure a consistent, velvety texture.
  3. Using a small balloon whisk, blend the spices for approximately 30 seconds until the powder is a uniform mahogany color with no visible streaks of individual spices.
  4. Using a funnel, transfer the blend into a clean, airtight 4 oz glass spice jar. Tap the jar on the counter to settle the powder before sealing.
  5. Label the jar with the date and store in a cool, dark place for maximum potency.
