Instructions:
- Place a fine-mesh sifter over a small ceramic or glass mixing bowl. Add the cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, cloves, cardamom, and black pepper.
- Sift the spices into the bowl to break up any clumps and ensure a consistent, velvety texture.
- Using a small balloon whisk, blend the spices for approximately 30 seconds until the powder is a uniform mahogany color with no visible streaks of individual spices.
- Using a funnel, transfer the blend into a clean, airtight 4 oz glass spice jar. Tap the jar on the counter to settle the powder before sealing.
- Label the jar with the date and store in a cool, dark place for maximum potency.
