Ingredients:

  • 4 oz (120 ml) freshly brewed espresso (about 2 shots)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sugar or sweetener of choice
  • 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk (or milk alternative)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) heavy cream (optional for richness)
  • Ice cubes (about 1 cup)
  • Cocoa powder or chocolate shavings (for garnish, optional)
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Brew espresso according to your machine’s instructions. Once brewed, stir in sugar until dissolved. Let cool for about 5 minutes.
  2. Fill two glasses with ice cubes to the top.
  3. Pour the cooled espresso over the ice in each glass, then add whole milk and heavy cream if using.
  4. Stir gently to combine the espresso and milk.
  5. Top with cocoa powder or chocolate shavings and a sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired.
