Ingredients:

  • 2 oz sharp cheddar cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 5 fresh red or green grapes, washed and dried
  • 0.5 cup organic strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 0.25 cup cucumber, sliced
  • 6 fresh blueberries
  • 0.25 cup whole grain crackers
  • 1 tbsp sunflower seed butter
  • 1 tsp hemp seeds

Instructions:

  1. Wash all fruit and vegetables thoroughly. Use a paper towel to pat down the grapes, berries, and cucumber slices until completely dry to prevent moisture transfer to dry components.
  2. Assemble the fruit and cheese forks by alternating one cube of cheese and one grape onto food-safe picks or blunted bamboo skewers.
  3. Place dry items like whole grain crackers or pretzels in the largest, driest compartment of the bento box.
  4. Place the fruit and cheese skewers in the second compartment. Add the strawberries, blueberries, and cucumber slices to the remaining sections, using silicone liners if necessary to maintain separation.
  5. Add the sunflower seed butter to a leak-proof condiment container and sprinkle with hemp seeds if desired.
