Ingredients:
- 2 lbs Alaskan King Crab Legs
- 1 tbsp sea salt
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions:
- Thaw crab legs in the refrigerator for 8–12 hours. If cooking from frozen, rinse under cold water to remove ice glaze. Use kitchen shears to cut legs into segments at the joints.
- Choose a heating method: To steam, place legs in a steamer basket over boiling salted water for 6–10 minutes. To bake, wrap legs in a foil packet with a splash of water or butter and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes. To boil, submerge in boiling water for 5–7 minutes.
- Prepare the garlic butter by melting butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, and fresh parsley.
- Drain crab legs thoroughly and serve immediately with the warm garlic butter dip, lemon wedges, and kitchen shears.
