Ingredients:
- 1 large whole wheat tortilla (approx. 10-12 inch diameter)
- 2 tablespoons low-fat marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 15 slices turkey pepperoni (or low-fat pepperoni)
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Optional: Red pepper flakes, garlic powder (to taste)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place tortilla on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (if using).
- Spread marinara sauce evenly over the tortilla, leaving a small border.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
- Arrange turkey pepperoni slices on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, and optional red pepper flakes and garlic powder.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tortilla is crispy and golden brown. Keep a close eye; tortillas can burn quickly!
- Let cool for a minute or two before slicing and serving.
