Ingredients:
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (397g)
- 1 ½ cups ice-cold water (360 ml)
- 1 (3.4-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix (96g)
- 3 cups heavy cream (720ml)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5 ml)
- 1 (12-ounce) box vanilla wafers (about 45-50 cookies) (340g)
- 4 medium ripe bananas, sliced (approx. 600g)
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and cold water until combined. Add the instant vanilla pudding mix and whisk until smooth.
- In a separate large bowl, beat the heavy cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the vanilla extract.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until evenly combined.
- In the bottom of your dish, arrange a layer of vanilla wafers. Top with a layer of sliced bananas.
- Spread a layer of the pudding mixture over the bananas.
- Repeat layers of vanilla wafers, bananas, and pudding until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of pudding.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the cookies to soften.
