Ingredients:

  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (397g)
  • 1 ½ cups ice-cold water (360 ml)
  • 1 (3.4-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix (96g)
  • 3 cups heavy cream (720ml)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5 ml)
  • 1 (12-ounce) box vanilla wafers (about 45-50 cookies) (340g)
  • 4 medium ripe bananas, sliced (approx. 600g)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and cold water until combined. Add the instant vanilla pudding mix and whisk until smooth.
  2. In a separate large bowl, beat the heavy cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the vanilla extract.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until evenly combined.
  4. In the bottom of your dish, arrange a layer of vanilla wafers. Top with a layer of sliced bananas.
  5. Spread a layer of the pudding mixture over the bananas.
  6. Repeat layers of vanilla wafers, bananas, and pudding until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of pudding.
  7. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the cookies to soften.
