Ingredients:

  • 4 oz (120 ml) Malibu coconut rum
  • 2 oz (60 ml) fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz (60 ml) strawberry puree (fresh or bottled)
  • 4 oz (120 ml) soda water (or lemon-lime soda for sweetness)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Lime wedges
  • Mint leaves (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Blend fresh strawberries until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve if desired for a smoother texture.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine Malibu rum, fresh lime juice, and strawberry puree. Add ice and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
  3. Fill two glasses with ice cubes. Strain the shaken mixture evenly into each glass.
  4. Pour soda water (or lemon-lime soda) gently over the drink to maintain the fizz.
  5. Add fresh strawberry slices, lime wedges, and mint leaves for an appealing presentation.
