Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped (about 2 cups or 300g)
  • 2 cups plain yogurt (full-fat or low-fat)
  • ½ cup milk (whole or 2%) or dairy-free alternative (125ml)
  • 2-4 tablespoons sugar or honey (to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • A pinch of salt
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Chop and peel the ripe mangoes, ensuring they are soft and sweet.
  2. In a blender, combine chopped mangoes, plain yogurt, milk, sugar, cardamom, and a pinch of salt. Optionally, add ice cubes for a chilled version.
  3. Blend on high until the mixture is creamy and smooth, without any mango chunks.
  4. Taste the lassi and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar or honey if desired.
  5. Pour into serving glasses and garnish with a sprinkle of cardamom or a mango slice on the rim.
