Ingredients:
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped (about 2 cups or 300g)
- 2 cups plain yogurt (full-fat or low-fat)
- ½ cup milk (whole or 2%) or dairy-free alternative (125ml)
- 2-4 tablespoons sugar or honey (to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
- A pinch of salt
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:
- Chop and peel the ripe mangoes, ensuring they are soft and sweet.
- In a blender, combine chopped mangoes, plain yogurt, milk, sugar, cardamom, and a pinch of salt. Optionally, add ice cubes for a chilled version.
- Blend on high until the mixture is creamy and smooth, without any mango chunks.
- Taste the lassi and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar or honey if desired.
- Pour into serving glasses and garnish with a sprinkle of cardamom or a mango slice on the rim.
