Ingredients:

  • 115g unsalted butter, plus extra for greasing
  • 170g semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 115g granulated sugar
  • 50g light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 60g all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 30g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 170g pretzel sticks, broken into small pieces
  • 85g milk chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 package (approx. 90g) mini chocolate eggs

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line the baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, melt butter and semi-sweet chocolate together. Stir until smooth.
  3. Whisk in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and cocoa powder. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with fudgy crumbs attached.
  7. Let brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into 12 equal squares.
  8. Melt the milk chocolate chips until smooth.
  9. Dip the bottom of a brownie into the melted chocolate and set it on a plate. Press pretzel pieces around the edge of each brownie square to create a 'nest' shape.
  10. While the chocolate is still wet, gently press a few mini chocolate eggs into the center of each pretzel nest.
  11. Let the chocolate set completely before serving.
