Ingredients:
- 115g unsalted butter, plus extra for greasing
- 170g semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 115g granulated sugar
- 50g light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 60g all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 30g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 170g pretzel sticks, broken into small pieces
- 85g milk chocolate chips, melted
- 1 package (approx. 90g) mini chocolate eggs
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line the baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang.
- In a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, melt butter and semi-sweet chocolate together. Stir until smooth.
- Whisk in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and cocoa powder. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with fudgy crumbs attached.
- Let brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into 12 equal squares.
- Melt the milk chocolate chips until smooth.
- Dip the bottom of a brownie into the melted chocolate and set it on a plate. Press pretzel pieces around the edge of each brownie square to create a 'nest' shape.
- While the chocolate is still wet, gently press a few mini chocolate eggs into the center of each pretzel nest.
- Let the chocolate set completely before serving.
