Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup (120g) confectioners' sugar, sifted
- 1/2 cup (128g) creamy peanut butter, smooth
- 1/4 cup (60ml) milk (whole or 2%)
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, using a whisk or spatula, cream the softened butter until smooth and light.
- Gradually whisk in the sifted confectioners' sugar, a little at a time, until fully combined.
- Add the creamy peanut butter and whisk until well combined and the mixture is smooth.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, followed by the vanilla extract and salt. Mix until the frosting reaches a smooth, spreadable consistency. Add more milk, one teaspoon at a time, if needed to achieve the desired texture.
- Taste the frosting and adjust sweetness or peanut butter flavor as needed. Add a bit more confectioners' sugar for sweetness or peanut butter for a more intense flavor.
