Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup (120g) confectioners' sugar, sifted
  • 1/2 cup (128g) creamy peanut butter, smooth
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) milk (whole or 2%)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, using a whisk or spatula, cream the softened butter until smooth and light.
  2. Gradually whisk in the sifted confectioners' sugar, a little at a time, until fully combined.
  3. Add the creamy peanut butter and whisk until well combined and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk, followed by the vanilla extract and salt. Mix until the frosting reaches a smooth, spreadable consistency. Add more milk, one teaspoon at a time, if needed to achieve the desired texture.
  5. Taste the frosting and adjust sweetness or peanut butter flavor as needed. Add a bit more confectioners' sugar for sweetness or peanut butter for a more intense flavor.
