Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons (30 g) finely chopped dill pickles or sweet gherkins
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon (2 g) capers, rinsed and finely chopped (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Finely chop the dill pickles (or gherkins) and capers (if using).
- In a mixing bowl, add the mayonnaise.
- Stir in the chopped pickles, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard.
- Add the capers, if using, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Whisk the mixture until thoroughly combined and smooth.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more lemon juice or salt for extra zing.
- Transfer to a serving dish or airtight container. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.
