Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) Water
  • 1/2 cup (100g) Granulated Sugar
  • 1 pint (450g) Strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup (150g) Blueberries, rinsed
  • 1 cup (125g) Raspberries, rinsed
  • 2 medium Kiwi, peeled and diced
  • 1 medium Mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup (150g) Grapes (seedless), halved
  • Fresh Mint Leaves (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Combine water and sugar in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Bring to a simmer, then remove from heat and let cool completely.
  2. Wash and prepare all of the fruits according to the ingredient list.
  3. In a large bowl, gently mix together the strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, kiwi, mango, and grapes.
  4. Drizzle the cooled simple syrup over the fruit mixture. Toss gently to coat. (You may not need all the syrup – adjust to taste).
  5. For a refreshing treat, chill the fruit bowl in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Spoon the fruit bowl into individual serving bowls or glasses. Garnish with fresh mint leaves, if desired.
