Ingredients:
- 6 ripe blood oranges (about 1.5 pounds / 680 grams)
- 1-2 tablespoons honey (optional, adjust to taste; can substitute with agave syrup or maple syrup)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- Ice cubes (for serving)
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Roll each blood orange on the countertop to loosen the juice.
- Cut the oranges in half.
- Use the citrus juicer to extract juice from each half.
- Optional: Strain the juice through a fine mesh strainer to remove pulp and seeds.
- If using, add honey and lemon juice to the blood orange juice; stir until well combined.
- Pour juice into a pitcher or individual glasses filled with ice.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
