- 1 pound (450g) fresh turnip greens, stemmed and chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Rinse turnip greens well to remove any grit; trim any tough stems and chop into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large sauté pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the turnip greens, ensuring they get a nice coating of oil.
- Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until the greens are wilted but still vibrant.
- Remove from heat, then stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy!
