Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) of fruit jelly (such as grape or apple)
  • ½ cup (120 ml) of ketchup
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15 g) brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5 g) onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5 g) mustard powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the fruit jelly, ketchup, and apple cider vinegar. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar. Add smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, and season to taste.
  3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the sauce to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
  4. Allow the sauce to simmer for about 10-15 minutes until it thickens slightly, stirring frequently.
  5. Remove the sauce from heat and let it cool for a few minutes. Transfer to a storage container and refrigerate until ready to use.
