Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Fresh Spinach
  • Paper Towels
  • Airtight Container or Plastic Bag

Instructions:

  1. Inspect Spinach: Check for any wilted, yellowing, or damaged leaves and cull any that don’t look fresh.
  2. Wash Spinach (if needed): Gently rinse under cold water, removing dirt and grit. Tip: Spin dry in a salad spinner or pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Pack Spinach: Choose a dry airtight container or resealable plastic bag. If using a bag, remove excess air to prevent moisture build-up.
  4. Label and Store: Place in the fridge's crisper drawer and write the date on the container/bag to track freshness.
  5. Monitor Freshness: Check daily for signs of spoilage; use within 5–7 days.
