Ingredients:

  • 1 oz (28g) White Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 oz (28g) Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 oz (14g) Provolone Cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 oz (7g) Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 2 slices Sourdough Bread (about 1/2 inch thick)
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter, softened
  • Optional: Garlic powder
  • Optional: Everything bagel seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Combine the shredded white cheddar, mozzarella, provolone, and parmesan cheese in a small bowl. Mix well to ensure even distribution.
  2. Generously spread softened butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread. If using, sprinkle a tiny pinch of garlic powder and everything bagel seasoning on the buttered side of one slice.
  3. Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in the griddle or pan. Sprinkle the cheese blend evenly over the bread. Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
  4. Cook over medium-low heat for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is completely melted and gooey. Use a spatula to gently press down on the sandwich to encourage even cooking.
  5. Remove from the heat, slice, and serve immediately.
