- 1 pound boneless chicken breast, sliced thinly
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, etc.)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
- 3 tablespoons oyster sauce (or fish sauce, depending on preference)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar (or honey)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds
Instructions:
- Prepare ingredients: Slice chicken and vegetables. Mince garlic and grate ginger.
- Make sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the oyster or fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil. Set aside.
- Heat wok/skillet: Heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Cook chicken: Add sliced chicken to the pan, cooking until browned and fully cooked (about 5-6 minutes).
- Add aromatics & veggies: Stir in garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant, then add mixed vegetables. Cook until veggies are tender-crisp (about 2-3 minutes).
- Combine: Pour sauce over the stir-fry, mixing well to coat. Cook for another minute until heated through.
- Serve: Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
