Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce (30 ml) Gin (London Dry recommended)
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) Campari
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) Sweet Vermouth (Italian preferred)
  • Orange peel, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Chill your rocks glass with ice while preparing the drink.
  2. In a mixing glass, combine the gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth.
  3. Add ice to the mixing glass.
  4. Stir gently until well-chilled (about 20-30 seconds).
  5. Remove the ice from the rocks glass. Strain the Negroni into the chilled rocks glass filled with ice.
  6. Express the oils from an orange peel over the drink (twist the peel), then use the peel as garnish. Serve immediately.
