Ingredients:
- 1 ounce (30 ml) Gin (London Dry recommended)
- 1 ounce (30 ml) Campari
- 1 ounce (30 ml) Sweet Vermouth (Italian preferred)
- Orange peel, for garnish
Instructions:
- Chill your rocks glass with ice while preparing the drink.
- In a mixing glass, combine the gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth.
- Add ice to the mixing glass.
- Stir gently until well-chilled (about 20-30 seconds).
- Remove the ice from the rocks glass. Strain the Negroni into the chilled rocks glass filled with ice.
- Express the oils from an orange peel over the drink (twist the peel), then use the peel as garnish. Serve immediately.
